Z.L. "Stick" Lamar, owner of Sticks Tree Care, Inc., holds a Forest Management degree from Stephen F. Austin University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Sciences degree from Parker University. Stick is also an ISA Certified Arborist with over 30 years of experience in tree care.

Stick Lamar loves trees, and he has a long history of encouraging and promoting environmentally-sound tree planting programs and sustainable urban forestry practices.

Sticks Tree Care is a recipient of the prestigious Keep Texas Beautiful - Ebby Halliday - Maurice Acers Business and Industry Award, a statewide award for businesses that promote sound environmental practices.  Stick was also awarded the Texas Forest Service "Outstanding Citizen Volunteer Award" for his endless work to improve the urban forest.
